Machine

about

I wrote this song while I was a bit drunk and thought about my washing machine like a servant. My Chinese friend couldn't understand why I thought it was so funny, but she likes the song. I recorded all of this in my Wenzhou apartment using my new keyboard, my acoustic guitar, a tambourine, and a bunch of pens that I threw across the room to add some BG texture. ^_-

lyrics

It's the job of the machine
to wash my clothes
so I don't have
to get my hands wet.
Otherwise I would
spend too much time
cleaning my stained red gloves.
So I propose
a toast the washer.
Thanks for being invented, pal.
Now my hands stay dry.
The stains come out
But my socks are pink;
I need some bleach.
Now you know that I killed something that bleeds.
I tried to wash my bloody gloves
and it turned my socks pink.
Wash again, this time with some bleach.
This is the job for my washing machine.
